This policy explains what information Vic Jones Beats collects when you use this site, why, and how it’s handled.
Information we collect
When you buy a beat license: your name, email address, and billing details are collected to process the order and deliver your files. Payments are handled entirely by PayPal — we never see or store your card or bank details.
When you contact us: if you text, call, or email about a beat, custom work, or licensing, we keep that conversation and whatever contact info you gave us so we can respond and follow up.
When you sign up for the mailing list: your email address is stored by our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, so we can send you new-beat announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Automatically, while browsing: we use Google Analytics to see which beats get played, searched for, and bought, so we know what’s working. This uses cookies and collects things like your approximate location, device type, and on-site activity — not your name or email. We also use a small first-party cookie to track how you first found the site (e.g. from a link or a search).
Cookies
This site uses cookies for: keeping your cart contents while you browse, remembering how you arrived at the site, and Google Analytics tracking as described above. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though the cart won’t work correctly without them.
Who we share information with
Order and payment processing: PayPal. Email newsletter delivery: Beehiiv. Site analytics: Google Analytics. We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Contact messages are kept as long as reasonably useful for following up with you.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (aside from records we’re legally required to keep, like completed order history). Reach out using the contact details below.
